On March 9, the Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University, lost one of its most distinguished Professors who had been a founding member of the Faculty and the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology. A graduate of King’s College, University of London, Professor Pilcher joined Kuwait University in 1976. His research focused on the areas of neuropharmacology and smooth muscle pharmacology.
